So true and such great advice! I find myself procrastinating quite often with emails and facebook – it’s a great idea to shut it down, I think I’ll join you!!

Sara, I am still learning to bring social media in so that it works for me instead of working against me but just saying NO is certainly helping a lot!

Hi Carrie, I love learning from you. You’ll remember I had such a hard time with all the small stuff and you helped me through it. Your book keeps me on track and using the strategies we worked on keep me focused. This is great advice. I check email first thing but now on days when I don’t see clients, I’m going “to do a Carrie” and not check until noon.

    Hugs,
    Kim

PS Thanks to working with you, I’ve had the best summer enjoying both my business and my life. Off to the beach today 🙂

      Kim,

You’re spending the day at the beach… can’t think of anything that makes me happier!

Email is my downfall, there are so many sources of industry news that I feel I can’t keep up! I have to check email early in the morning since my partners are in Europe and then it may take hours to skim the news. I never use FB during the day and only check every couple days at night, as you say it’s a time sucker. Can’t tell you how many times my customers have told me how happy they are that I called them rather than email. Your videos are a great idea, a voice communicates so much more than just written words.
