Something I’ve learned from entrepreneur coaching is that you should stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Instead of wasting energy and effort on trying to create something different for its own sake, try using what you already have in new, original, and exciting ways.
Use What You Already Have in New Ways
It’s been a wonderful few days! I spent a long weekend in Canada with three amazing women. We went to Prince Edward Island. It’s beautiful there, and the weather was perfect. We strolled on beaches, drove along picturesque roads, went for long walks and ate amazing food.
When we planned our trip I knew it would be great; I didn’t realize how wonderful it would be. One thing I did while we were away was disconnect. I stayed off of social media, email, and barely even called home. I’m now feeling refreshed and ready to jump back in.
One thing I often hear from many of the people I work with is that they need to create something new in order to use it in their business. One place we stayed on PEI was the Inn at Fortune Bay. It is run by world famous Chef Michael Smith and his wife Chastity. They have created an amazing environment and experience based on things that were already there. No need to recreate; they simply gathered these things together in a new way.

As a starting-from-scratch-with-no-resources grief counsellor, this whole journey for me is to start with what already is – and feel the abundance of it! It probable takes WAY more time and effort then buying coaching or course to help me through it, but the fact is – I don’t have that money now, and I don’t want to add to my debts. So I see it as a wonderous, exciting journey full of adventure and new discoveries! And that makes me really happy and invigourated!!
