Starting is the hardest part.
Do whatever it takes to start.
Momentum coaching teaches us a lot. For example, that first half-mile is a real killer. It’s hard to get your body going; it’s hard to get your brain going. But, once you start to move, you begin to gather momentum toward your goal.
So… Push through the beginning. Once you do, you will find that you will get more comfortable and confident. You will pick up speed and you will be able to keep going.

Great advice and good for you for running!

Thanks Lori!

Absolutely agree! Neuroscience research suggests that if we set an alarm for 20 mins, and do those dreaded tasks for 20 minutes, then stop, it is 76% more likely that we will carry through on that task to completion!

I love when science confirms what I experienced. Glad I forced myself to get out and run on Sunday. So what dreaded task are you going to do for 20 minutes?

I’m trying to get started on my business idea, but I have some technical problems that need to be resolved for it to work (to do with printing old books). I don’t know who could help me with this. How do I get unstuck?
Carrie Greene says
Hi Doly,
I don’t have a resource for you off hand and don’t know exactly what you have in mind however, I’d consider the finding someone in the printing business (even if it isn’t exactly the same thing) that you can speak with. Or if it’s about copyright issues maybe speak with an attorney who could help you resolve that.
The one thing I do know is that if you do nothing you will never get your idea off the ground.
