In today’s video blog, I share with you what I learned about business and motivation, as well as the hidden reserves we all carry with us in every situation, simply by running four miles this morning.
Here’s a brief summary of what I share in the video – three lessons I learned while out for a run.
- You always have some hidden reserves. Just when you think you’ve done all you can do, there’s always a little more you can handle.
- Sometimes you need to rest. Honor your body and your mind. Know yourself but be careful not to use it as an excuse to give up on yourself.
- When you fall short of a commitment start back up, don’t use it as an excuse to quit.
It also does not hurt to remember that goal setting and achievement are a never-ending process of vision for the future and realizing that vision. These three lessons will help you achieve your goals, whether personal or professional – or when you go for a run!
