Part of productivity coaching, for me, is helping business owners decide when to give up on something and when to keep pushing for positive results.
A lot of the things you take on personally and professionally are difficult. Many of us have a tendency to stop as soon as anything becomes difficult, or as soon as you become uncomfortable.
The question you need to ask yourself is: Is it bothering you or really stopping you?
What do you think? Are there projects that you’ve stopped when you could have kept going?
Are there times when you’ve felt pain and kept going so that you could achieve a certain result? What do you think?
Were there times when you wished you had someone on your side to tell you when to keep pushing – and when to stop?
Deciding when to stop is usually easier than making the decision to continue through a difficult time. But, you have to ask yourself, “What benefits me the most?”
