I grab a piece of blank paper and a sharpie and get all the ideas that have been
sitting in my brain (or on sticky notes on my desk) in one place.
When I can see what’s on my mind
it’s so much easier to make decisions.
Have you ever done a brain dump? How has it helped you?

Hi Carrie, no I haven’t tried the brain dump technique, yet. But I do use sticky pad / note to remind me important task. My desk is untidy, with notes all over. One day I’ll clear the desk but for now I feel like surrounded with paper friends and sticky notes. From last few years I’ve practiced, not to say anything that I don’t want to happen to me. I’ll not say, I have headache or I’ll catch cold, or I feel tired. Someone might call it mind over matter, I don’t know, but it works for me. Very rarely I’m down with anything. Even if I catch cold, that doesn’t last for more than day or two. I’ll taken on your suggestion, Brain Dump.
