It feels like I’m being assaulted by all the information coming at me all the time.

Only send them information that is helpful to them, and keep that message
short, sweet and to the point.
Here’s something to consider – You’re better off cutting your message in half
and making it easy for your audience to take in, than keeping it long and
having the message unread and not acted on.
