Insanity. According to Albert Einstein it’s to do the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
According to this definition I’ve marketed, coached, managed email, engaged in social media, worked my plan and so much more in an insane manner.
As a business owner it’s so easy to fall into the trap of insanity.
Here are a few examples of insanity I see every day.
You see someone getting amazing results. You want those results so you do exactly what they are doing. When it doesn’t work you try again and again.
A coach, advisor or friend recommends a specific action plan for you. You follow it to a “T”. It doesn’t work. You try it again and again. Still nothing.
You aren’t happy with your results. You’re not making enough money. You don’t have enough clients. You are marketing but nothing seems to work. You think you must not be trying hard enough so you decide to keep doing what you’re doing only this time, you’ll “try harder”.

And here’s one more….
You love what you’re doing. You love your clients, you love your programs and you are making good money BUT (it’s a big but) you aren’t taking care of yourself or spending time with the people you care most about. You “should” be happy but you are miserable.
It’s gotten to the point that whenever I hear either “I’m just going to do it again” or “I’m going to try harder” I brace myself for insanity.
Of course there is a learning curve for most things, and trying something once is usually not going to give you the results you want, but doing something again and again without changing some core processes isn’t going to make it work.
It’s not about trying harder, or even trying again, it’s about trying differently.
Think about the things that aren’t working for you. What about them is making you unhappy? What isn’t getting completed? What are you doing that is not yielding the results you want?
What can you do differently? What step can you add? What step can you take out? Where else can you direct your focus? Who can you enlist to help you?
Look around your life and your business. Where are you experiencing insanity? What can you do to stop it? Start making those changes immediately by sharing your thoughts below.

it did improve in Aug as i had my best mo. ever. signed up for the free 3 seminars wanting to learn more. I learned to let a potential go as he was soooooo abrupt & un business like. Communication is key & his skill at communication was disrespectful & I flowed with it & did not do what he did. i am 1 more closer to finding another ideal client.

Nothing quite as powerful as letting a potential client go. Best for him and you!
