Focus and Action Year End

You’ve got 30 days.  Thirty days to make a change.  TimeThirty days to move forward.

You won’t be able to do everything in thirty days but what you can do will make a difference in this year’s bottom line and set up next year to be incredibly profitable.

It is going to take two things.  The first, laser clear focus and the second action.  Here’s what you’ve got to do:

Focus:

  1. What’s one thing that’s been nagging at you all year?  What is one thing that you’ve wanted to do that you haven’t “gotten around to” yet?  The one thing that you know can have a quick impact on your profits.
  2. Now that you’ve picked one project, consider if it’s doable in thirty days. If not scale it back a bit so that it is or so that you can at least reach a significant milestone in thirty days.

Action:

  1. Break up the project into SINGLE DAILY actionable steps.  What is one thing you can do to move the project forward each day?  No one step should take the entire day, an hour maybe two at most.
  2. Pick a time of day to DO the steps.  Think about your schedule.  When can you reliably be available to follow your plan?
  3. Be accountable to someone.  Share your plan with a friend, a coach or a business partner and let them help you stay on track.
