5 Easy Strategies for an Incredible 2011

December 28, 2010 by Carrie Greene 2 Comments

Success doesn’t happen automatically but it’s also not magic. Here are five steps you can take to help set yourself up for success and profits.

  1. Take a look at your recent successes. Are there any that you can easily expand upon or do again so that you’re not constantly recreating the wheel?

  2. Review your “one of these days” list. Pick the one thing that will make the biggest difference in your business or personal life, identify the 1st action step you need to take and do it.

  3. Look at what you’re doing today. What are you not enjoying? What’s not bringing your profits? What’s just not working? What are you doing because you “should” be doing it as opposed to because you want to do it? What is it time to stop doing?

  4. Look at what you’re doing today. What do you really enjoy? What brings you profits? What works well? Which of these things can you make sure to emphasize in your future plans?

  5. Build your network. You can’t go it alone, it gets really lonely, frustrating, it’s no fun and just not worth it. What steps can you take to increase your support network? Meet friends and colleagues for coffee regularly? Hire a coach? Join a group coaching program? Join a gym? Find a business network of like minded peers?

Do you have another strategy you are using in your planning for 2011? I’d love to know. Please share it with me by adding a comment below!

I am now setting aside Monday to work on my business, and doing client work from Tuesday to Friday, instead of trying to squeeze “my” stuff in throughout the week. This should allow me to be more focused and even more productive.

Absolutely, it will help you serve your current clients better as well as continue to grow your business. Oftentimes we find ourselves spending all of our time working in our businesses and not on our businesses!

And I know I owe you some information to help so that you can schedule your day and will get it to you asap 😉
